Tour Description
We’ll come and pick you up after breakfast around 8am (or optional 2pm start if you choose a half-day tour) and start the journey out to one of the floating villages. Here you can see how the local villagers life their lives on top of the water. You can visit a local school, restaurant, and see how the “floating villagers” have made their homes on top of the water.
The villages are complete with floating markets, schools, and even medical clinics! This unique way of life has lasted for generations and most of the villagers are involved in the fishing trade.
We’ll take a boat ride out to one of the villages and go to see one of the four main floating villages in Siem Reap – depending on the time of year. The most popular floating village is Chong Kneas.
